Bulanglang















Isa sa mga pangkaraniwan ngunit masarap at masustansiyang Lutong Licab ang Bulanglang. Kundangan kasi eh, kadalasang nakikita lang at nakatanim sa likod-bahay ng mga tiga-Licab ang mga sangkap sa pagluluto ng Bulanglang.

Simulan na ang pagluluto!

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons oil
½ cup pork (thinly sliced)
1 head of garlic (minced)
1 onion (minced)
3 pieces tomatoes (diced)
2 tablespoons bagoong alamang
1 cup squash (peeled and cubed)
1-bundle string beans (cut to 2″)
1 ampalaya (cut to 1″)
2 pieces eggplant (cut to 1″)
1 bunch pepper (labuyo) leaves

Pour off all but 2 tbsp. of oil in skillet. Saute Pork, garlic, onions and tomato in oil. Add bagoong and water. Let come to a boil.

Add squash, string green beans and ampalaya in that order.

Cover, lower heat to moderate and cook 6 to 8 minutes or until vegetables are done.

Add pepper (labuyo) leaves, remove from heat, cover and let stand for about 5 minutes before serving.
