I received an email today from Malou Calma that the patient (apparently a balikbayan who visited her relatives in Poblacion Sur, Licab), is already cured from the pandemic Influenza A (H1N1) virus. The patient was confined at the Lung Center of the Philippines. Meanwhile, those people to whom she made contact with in Licab are under observation until tomorrow, June 5, 2009.
In other news, our new website, http://www.licab.net/ is continuously being developed, so you might notice lots of changes when you visit the site.
We have added new features, such as Mga Balita (a section where we shall be posting breaking news about Licab), Mga Sanaysay (featuring articles, and success stories being emailed to us by our kababayans).
And, finally, the comments portion in the articles are now enabled, so you can post your comments about the issue!
